    Three flyers for girls and boys from the Communittee of Food supply States Council of Defense on what they can do for their county .They are all from the Connecticut Agriculture College and sent by M. Estella Sprague. Additional photos upon request.
    M. Estella Sprague was the first woman extension service worker in Connecticut, serving during WW1 as the director of home economics for the Federal Food Administration.  She was appointed to this office in June 1917. She worked to maximize food production and conservation during the war efforts.
