    Description

    Robert Zentall started his costume jewelry company in 1952. His brand had a very modernistic feel to it. He got lucky and became successful almost immediately due to Vogue Magazine being a big fan of his jewelry interpretations.
    This vintage faux gold piece depicts the most stately of owls. Vintage costume jewelry lovers and owl collectors alike can’t help but love this guy. There are no stones missing from his eyes. That’s the way Mr. Zentall created him. Sadly, Zentall Jewelry Designs only lasted until 1984. So even if this owl was made on the last day of business, he is pushing 40 hard. From what I can tell, he closer to 60 years old. Whooo knows for sure, but he is definitely very vintage!
