    Description

    This very vintage Meab enameled asymmetric shield brooch was probably one of the early works of the company’s founder, a young artist who honed her craft traveling through Europe studying the works of other enamelists, like Faberge.
    This piece has had a long and vibrant life so far as shown by the bit of wear on the copper in back. The many layers of enamel artistry on the front have kept this brooch in excellent condition where it matters most. Made in Ireland. Signed.
