    Description

Brennan 2501-12-12-FG Forged Steel JIC Flared Tube Fitting, 90 Degree Elbow Forgeded, 3/4" Tube OD JIC Male x 3/4-14 NPTF Male
The Brennan 2501-FG series MJ-MP 90-degree elbow fitting is made of forged steel and has JIC male and NPTF male connectors. This 90-degree elbow fitting, or "ell," connects two pipes at a 90-degree angle to change the direction of flow between pipes. It has a Joint Industrial Council (JIC) flared male connector on one end and a National Pipe Taper Fuel (NPTF) male connector on the other. The fitting is made of steel for weldability and rust resistance, and is forged to increase the material's strength and resistance to mechanical shock and vibration. The operating temperatures for this fitting range from -63 to 400 degrees F. It meets Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) standard J514 for quality assurance. Pipe fittings are components used for connecting, terminating, controlling flow, and changing the direction of piping in many different industries. Push-to-connect compression fittings do not require tools or sealants, and are useful in installations where a heat source, such as a soldering torch, is prohibited. When purchasing pipe fittings, consider the application, as this will affect material type, shape, size, and required durability. Fittings are available threaded or unthreaded, in many shapes, styles, sizes, and schedules (pipe wall thickness). Brennan Industries manufactures critical flow components. The company, founded in 1953 and headquartered in Solon, OH, meets International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2008 standards and its fittings meet Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) specifications.
