This is a very nice lot of 4 PATRIOTIC POSTCARDS showing GEORGE WASHINGTON in various scenes and celebrating his birthday.  These postcards are ANTIQUE from the early 1900s.  The postcards are colorful and attractive with much RED, WHITE, and BLUE.  In fact, they have vertical sections in red white and blue colors.  The postcards show Washington on the face of a drum; on a big bell; in his military outfit, and, in a cameo portrait.  Each
of the cards have cherries around him.  They also have a paragraph about Washington below his picture.
Overall, a nice selection of antique postcards!  These are collector items because of their age and desirability to Washington and patriotic postcard collectors.
These postcards are from E. Nash publisher, who is a sought after publisher and who published in the 1908-1910 time frame, and mostly from Germany.  These are part of Series # W-7.  These postcards are also listed under publisher Lounsbury.  These would have been published in the 1909 era.  These are collector items that will keep their value.
The postcards are all UNPOSTED.  All of the postcards are nicely EMBOSSED, most likely "PRINTED IN GERMANY", and with strong GOLD TRIM.  They have divided backs.
These are BETTER POSTCARDS and are good for a collector or dealer. They will keep their value.  Often these postcards are sold as individual items for many dollars each. They are sleeved and in good condition. However, please expect some creases, stains and edge wear due to their age. The pictures show the postcards and their backs.  They are shipped in a sturdy envelope.
