4 Fourth of July Antique Postcards. Publ Nash Comic Series. Collector Items 1909
This is a nice lot of 4 PATRIOTIC Antique Postcards from the early 1900s celebrating the 4th of July.  These are drawn in a COMIC design by publisher E. Nash, and called COMIC SERIES 1. E. Nash published during the years 1908-1910, and is considered one of the most wanted publishers.
The postcards have a similar design with red, white, and blue and a middle area where the comic scene is displayed. One shows two boys playing with a dog and firecrackers; another with a woman; and the other with two men reading newspapers. These pick up the firecracker theme for the 4th of July.
The postcards are UNPOSTED (3) and POSTED (1) with a cancel date of 1909.  One is nicely EMBOSSED. They have bright and bold colors.  They have divided backs. One is a duplicate.
