Clearly addressed to the command structure, w/similarly clear CDS's on both.  (1.) 1916 Addressed and written by hand to

in Berlin, Cleanly opened on side, an arrival or theater censors CDS on reverse for the 11th Army. Entire 4.75" X 5.75"
cover is formed from a part of a battle map which is clearly evident
upon looking inside.  (2.) 1917 4.75" X 7.25" Message cover w/printed address to the Theater Commander w/additional pencil route markings and a hand stamped

notice.  A theater censor arrival usage CDS on reverse where it was rather roughly opened.  Corners better than normal for the period.  Nice examples in beautiful original battlefield used condition.
